On Saturday Apr 26 we will hold the first of the 4X4 101 class. The class will be designed for new club members and guests. The session will cover basic 4 wheeling subjects including basic vehicle requirements, 4X4 terminology & equipment, demonstration of several moderatly built Jeeps, how to prepare your vehicle for the trail, off road driving techniques, plus other topics. The training will be organized into morning discussions and demenonstrations followed by a short afternoon trail ride to follow up the areas discussed in the morning session. Bring your lunch.
Directions: Get off I-40 east bound at Exit 175, stay to the right to the stop light at the interection of State Hwy 333 and 337. Proceed straight at the light south on 337 past the Sandia Ranger Station for 5.1 miles. Turn left on Juan Tomas Rd. Go .6 ,miles. Turn left on FR 252 and proceed 1.5 miles to the Cedro Group Campgound on the left.
