Update: 2/24/15 Well I appologize and hate making last minute changes but do to the cookout think it's really best to switch the days around we will be heading down to Green canyon on Friday and will run Beandons Challenge along with some other trails. Then on Satuday we will stay close to the Butte and run Pick and Shovel followed by Upper and Lower Hairball. We will still meet Friday at 8:00 but let's push Saturday back to 8:30.
Update: 2/18/15 Curtis H. from T or C is planning on joining us. Being local down there he knows all these trails very well. The current thought is we will plan on running some trails just below Elephant Butte Dam on Friday, then on Saturday go down and run some 2014 Chile challenge trails in the Green OHV park near Array.
This will be a Hard ride around the T or C Area on Friday and Saturday. This ride is not for stock vehicles. These trails are best suited to vehicles with lockers, 35" or larger tires, body protection, plenty of clearance, a winch, tools, spare parts, and maybe a trailer to get it home. There are very few by-passes to avoid tough spots.
Potluck dinner. Saturday eveningafter a fun day on the trails lets meet back at my house and have a New Orleans style potluck. I will have a large boiling pot full of Potatoes, Corn, and Sausage. Bring your own shrimp, crawfish, lobster, crab, etc. to toss in, a side for all to share, and your favorite beverages.
Meet Friday Morning 8:00AM and leave at 8:15AM. Do not off-load or air down here. And Saturday at 8:30 and leave by 8:45.
