13 4x4's, 17 people went on the Riley ride. Good weather, dusty main road, but low range roads and arroyos were lots of fun. Play areas were used, cows and some wild horses were present. Mary had some issues with her Jeep, but made it home. We saw the FORK IN THE ROAD, Riley ghost town and the cemetery , a young bull who did not like Doug and/or his Toyota. We all got by Nutter's washout without incident. We saw a herd of Marys. You had to be there.....LOL!
The Bear mountains are amazing and very remote. One of my favorite club rides. Thank goodness we live in New Mexico!
We had great communication today on the radios, as we relayed info up and down the line of 4x4's when we were spread out along the dusty main road. Thanks for this.
If you like to drive in low range and turning your steering wheel, this is the ride to go on.
