Saturday, February 14, 2026, members of the New Mexico 4-Wheelers (NM4W) gathered at Plata Coffee in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque for their monthly Rigs & Coffee meetup.
Despite being Valentine’s Day, the local off-road community showed up in force to share their passion for dirt, gear, and caffeine. Here is a quick breakdown of the event:
Event Highlights
-
The Venue: Plata Coffee (located at 8325 2nd Street NW) has become the unofficial hub for this gathering, thanks in part to the owner, Aaron, who is an avid 4x4 and overlanding enthusiast.
-
The Rigs: The parking lot featured a diverse lineup of vehicles, ranging from highly modified rock crawlers to daily-driver overlanding builds. The event was open to all brands, including Toyotas, Broncos, and custom builds.
-
Community & Connection: As a family-oriented club, the morning was less about technical trail talk and more about "tire kicking" and socializing. Members and prospective newcomers spent the morning (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM) discussing upcoming spring runs and showing off recent modifications.
